On Saturday, March 4th, NJHS and NHS students did some volunteering in our local community by helping an animal shelter at an adoption event.

We had a great turn out of students! The students cleaned the dogs, walked them around, and gave them lots of love. They also helped by selling some handmade products and accepting donations with proceeds going to charity. It was awesome watching the students care for the animals and interact with members of the community to help find the dogs a forever home! They were very excited at the end of the event when some families applied to adopt a few of the puppies! Way to go student leaders!
